Licensed Imam & Qur'an Teacher – South Granville Mosque
Sheikh Abu Malik is a highly respected imam and licensed preacher who currently serves as the official Imam of South Granville Mosque in Sydney, Australia. With over 15 years of experience in daʿwah, community leadership, and Qur'anic instruction, he is known for his sincerity, clarity, and ability to connect with youth and families alike. Born and educated in Egypt, he holds an Ijazah in Qur'an memorisation and recitation with sanad, and a formal degree in Islamic Studies from Al-Azhar University. He has led numerous khutbahs, taraweeh prayers, and Islamic classes across Australia and brings a spiritually grounded, balanced presence to every group he guides.
